BRANCO DE SANTA CRUZ IS BASED ON A LITTLE ORGANIC VINEYARD BENEATH THE VALDEORRAS VILLAGE OF SANTA CRUZ. A SUPERBLY TEXTURAL WINE WITH LOVELY CLARITY.
There is a multitude of grape varieties mixed in this beautiful wine: Godello, Treixadura, Doña Blanca, Palomino.
The Santa Cruz is a wonderful but very scarce white wine that can only be made from around 2500-3000 bottles per year.
TASTING NOTES
A superbly textural wine with lovely clarity, minerality and line. With some time in the glass, this wonderful white wine reveals yellow flowers, chamomile, fennel and anise apple. The palate has good body but lengthens beautifully, phenolics are both constructive and controlled and the whole thing is beguiling and gently expansive.

When looking for sustainable beverage options I like to keep things as local as possible which is I recommend our Trebbiano d’Abruzzo 2019, and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2019 which haven't had to travel too far to get here.Growing up in Finland, I have known from a very young age that I wanted to work in this industry. My dad has been a massive inspiration for my career since he has worked in the industry his whole life, and at home food and wine had a big part in our day to day life.
At the end of the day, Christmas should be about what you enjoy, the food you like and the people you love. Buy what you will use and actually consume and share it when you can, be it with a loved one or a stranger in need.
